Flowers are representative of a number of occasions. Usually bought on birthdays, Valentine’s Days, anniversaries and Mother’s Days, they have their moments of making others feel special. However sometimes, spontaneous bouquets are the best kind and so when Appleyard London, a flower delivery company in Chelsea, got in touch and enquired about collaborating, it felt like an absolute treat to be able to choose some to be sent home.
I’ve had a couple of experiences with online flower delivery companies in the past, several of which were very expensive and largely disappointing. It put me off for a little while and I resorted to choosing out other gifts instead, however I think you’ll agree – if this forty rose bouquet (£49.99) arrived on your doorstep, it may make you re-consider. Packaged to perfection, with special sachets of ‘rose food’ and plenty of water, there wasn’t a petal out of place when we took them out of the box.
I actually only ordered them the day before because Appleyard specialise in next day flowers, a bonus if you (like me) are the forgetful sort. It’s now a week and a bit on and they’re still sitting pretty on top of the mantlepiece – which is great because usually flowers I ‘care’ for are long gone within just a few days!
The site itself is very varied, with a huge range of bouquets to suit all tastes and all budgets. You can opt for ‘standard’, ‘large’ or ‘extra large’ bouquets depending on the occasion and there are some absolutely gorgeous ones starting at just £23! I couldn’t resist the roses because of all the beautiful complimenting colours but the below bouquets are very pretty too…
In case you’ve got a special occasion coming up, like a birthday or anniversary and you fancy sending flowers or even if you’ve had a tough (rainy) week and fancy treating yourself, Appleyard London have kindly given me an exclusive discount code for readers of scarlettlondon.com, offering 33% off any bouquet. If you fancy taking advantage of this, simply type BLOG33 into the promo code bit at the checkout! Happy flower shopping!
