A one-stop-shop for all things brow related, Browhaus has been on my radar for quite some time now. I visited their Covent Garden branch several years ago and was so happy with the result, so invited them along to 2015’s edition of the #BloggersFestival in September. As I had envisioned, everyone else who attended left sharing my enthusiasm for their magical brow ways – having had their own mini appointments throughout the day.
However, with a Christmas party on the horizon (and a number of other festive related events), I thought it was about time I booked in again for their famous ‘Browgraphy’ – which constructs and revamps your brows based on your face shape, brow height and features. In other words, it’s not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach – but rather a personal consultation to get your brows looking tip top. A bit of brow TLC.
I headed to their Islington store (which is a bit space-agey but really welcoming) and put my brows in the capable hands of Chermaine. She measured and explained in detail what she was going to do, which is always reassuring when someone has the fate of your eyebrows in their hands. Usually it’s a bit of a scary moment but I felt at ease and confident they were going to come out the way I envisioned.
The Browgraphy treatment mixes threading, tinting and plucking, leaving you with perfected frames to your face. It was all over in a matter of minutes (which I was a bit sad about, as during a busy week, it was quite relaxing to just lay down and let someone else take over) – but ideal if you’re popping out to have them made-over in your lunch break.
I’m now two weeks on and the tint is still very much there, subtly – which I really love. It’s been so good to not have to draw in my brows everyday (I know it’s only a tiny job that takes all of two minutes – but that’s an extra two minutes in bed, don’t forget) and I am already planning my next trip back! They have branches in London and further afield (NY and Asia) so they’re definitely worth checking out!
Have you ever visited Browhaus? Or are you in need of some brow TLC?
