Episode 6
The whole of episode 6 was a drawn-out battle of testosterone, so the girly fashion was a bit thin on the ground. In between the man-fights, the giant sandwiches, the fast cars and the race tracks, I picked out four of the best style moments for you to oggle at!
1) Rosie working simple monochrome.
1. Daisy Jewellery Necklace 2. River Island 3. Next
2) Louise looking cute in her Acne shirt during date night.
1. Miss Selfridge 2. Acne 3. Acne Purple
The final two moments worth mentioning came at the champagne tasting when the cast found themselves drinking Mark Francis’s £950-a-bottle-darling champagne. Firstly, Victoria rocked up in a fluro frenzy and immediately stole my heart in matchy matchy orange lace. The suit is from Topshop and sadly the crop top is totally sold out but you can still get your hands on the trousers if you’re quick!
3) Victoria in neon.
1. Topshop Trousers 2. Topshop Cuff 3. Zara Clutch 4.Cuff
4) Phoebe in Alice and Olivia.
It was nice to see that Phoebe ditched her usual street chic for a party dress at this event. She paired the Alice & Olivia number with a variety of designer add-ons including Cartier bangles and a studded Mulberry belt. You can see it more clearly in this photo from Phoebe’s tumblr.
Episode 7
I knew episode 7 was going to be a gem when the words, “Is he a fantastic lay?” flashed across my laptop screen. We have to love Binky’s mum for her cracking one liners. This was shortly followed by Andy’s puppy dog eyes announcing that he and Louise are an official couple. Watch out Spennie!
We started at the Pelham Hotel in South Kensington where our favourite fashionistas enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea. Rosie and Louise got my vote for some extremely enviable outfit choices.
Thanks to my new favourite blog, Rosie’s At Fashion Forte, we can see a full-length photo of the outfit she was wearing in this scene. Her cropped blouse is a purse-friendly £29.99 from Zara and if you don’t fancy the cropped style you could try this one instead.
1. Cropped Zara Blouse 2. Longer Zara Blouse 3. Fifi Necklace 4. Three Floor skirt
More love for Tatler’s fashion assistant next as we joined Proudlock, Phoebe and a lust-worthy Louis Vuitton satchel bag in Marylebone. Effortlessly slung over her shoulder, it is every girl’s dream accessory. At the risk of sounding like a child…I want one, I want one, I want one.
They may be a bit pricey but if you are in the market for one I’d recommended researching for some second hand options. Not only will they make less of a dip in your bank balance but they’ll also be nicely worn for that ‘expensive’ vintage look.
Taking a stroll down Sloane Street, we ran into a very cute Cheska wearing a very cute floral tea dress with pink lace panels to the sides. She accessorised with a chunky gold chain necklace, wedges and sunnies. Here’s how you can work the exact same dress!
1. Dress 2. Necklace 3. Wedges
On to Andy and Louise’s date at the patisserie where Louise rather sporadically decided she wanted to “move abroad” with her new boyf. Whoa, slow down and eat your chocolate casket Louise.
You too can chow down chocolate and sorbet while wearing the exact same mesh panel dress for a mere £32.99. Get it here. It’s definitely the season for a LWD and there are some fantastic options on the high-street at the moment. I’ve put together a few of my favourites.
1. Pull & Bear 2. Topshop 3. River Island at ASOS
There’s nothing like a bit of apple bobbing and wellie wanging to get you in the mood for a barn dance! After a bit of passive aggressive violence between Louise and Lucy, we headed into the party where I fell head over heels in love with Phoebe’s crystal drop earrings. I’m a sucker for a bit of statement jewellery.
1. ASOS 2. ASOS 3. Warehouse 4. Debenhams 5. Topshop
