Mykonos SS16: What to wear on holiday!
Despite only having a small hand luggage allowance for my trip to Mykonos, I still managed to cram in a rather mammoth amount of outfits. I'm not sure what it is about holiday packing but I tend to prepare for the fact that I will probably be changing 4+ times per day, plus a bit extra. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone (well, I hope not).I do really need to refine my packing skills - because I did once arrive to a holiday destination (luckily only for a few days) with 6 t-shirts, 10 pairs of socks, 5 pairs of underwear and two pairs of sandals (nope, not even a toothbrush but I did have one of those extremely handy multi-use-plug adapters - although no cables) - but for my latest trip, my overzealous stuffing-items-into-a-case-and-forcing-it-shut somehow managed to work.I totalled a rather ridiculous 10 outfits for the duration of my trip - and thought to showcase this, I'd put together a little lookbook (rather than boring you with various outfit pictures - trying desperately to describe my dress as more than 'pretty and flattering' but really, just loving it and hoping others do too). I thought it might inspire some additions to your ever growing holiday wardrobe too, so without further ado, here's what I wore....

My go-to style on holiday tends to be a bit boho - but all in all, very relaxed. I don't like feeling too 'over-done' during the day because anything too fussy can leave you feeling a bit hot and bothered. But in the evenings, I do like dressing up in something fitted and feminine, while still maintaining a relaxed summer almost-festival-vibe.
Mykonos, as I've touched upon in previous posts, is quite breezy so I'd opt to bring light outerwear for the evening. I mean, you won't need a full on cashmere jumper, but a denim jacket or a thin blazer would definitely suffice (and you'll appreciate it once the sun sets!).
