Anyone that knows me will understand that I take the motto ‘comfort over fashion’ very seriously. I’m not the kind of person who rocks up to uni everyday immaculately dressed and made up (I wish) because sitting for hours in one position and trying to take in information is one thing, doing it in an uncomfortably tight dress is another. So 9 times out of 10, I look about as far removed from a fashion blogger as you can get.
However, there are some lovely people out there who have designed clothes which flatter and look rather swanky, as well as being extremely comfortable (this post exhibits the closest thing you’ll get to wearing a socially acceptable onesie). One brand that continually gets this right for me is Boden, who you may have noticed I’ve been featuring on my blog quite a lot lately. Not only do their pieces look expensive and far more high fashion than high street (always a bonus) but they are super comfortable too. And I’m not just talking about not getting tummy ache, they’re so comfortable in fact – I wore this dress to bed (by accident) the other day, after practically collapsing from exhaustion (I’ve had a lot going on recently).
Although I haven’t been to any festivals this summer, I imagine this is what I’d take with me for a really floaty yet kind of ‘boho glam’ look (I know that phrase might be cringe worthy, but it describes it rather well). Featuring a few ruffled layers, it hides any lumps and bumps (or the ones I know I’m conscious about at least) and is the perfect go-to for daywear.

These gorgeous boots are also from Boden (I’m constantly on their website at the moment – forgive me) and I can’t wait to wear them for the Summer to Autumn transition. Usually, things you buy in summer won’t last you throughout the year but I think you’ll agree – these are fab for all seasons!
Have you shopped in Boden recently? What do you think of my outfit choice?
