With so many high street giants dominating the world’s marketplace, there’s a very small gap leftover for little home-born businesses to flourish, especially when rent’s are so high and the online world is so saturated, so any company that prides itself on helping new businesses is a great idea in my eyes. iZettle have recently helped 6 small businesses around the country, by providing them with a London ‘flagship’ store for 12 hours, introducing them to the wider marketplace and giving them their own space on which to make their mark.
Among the bunch of businesses include Bluebird Tea – a ‘tea mixologist’ company who have perfected the Gingerbread Chai, who happen to be a company I have heard of myself – so they must have done their job right to some extent!
Helping out businesses and giving them the first step in the right direction is a really interesting, thought provoking and extremely admiral ethos to base a company on – and iZettle have even produced a really interesting video to back up what they’ve done and what they stand for. If you have a moment, I’ve embedded it below so that you can take a look!
Are there any small businesses that you support – or do you run a small business yourself? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
