I know that technically, we’re quite a long way away from Christmas but there’s no time better than the present (excuse the pun) to start hunting for gifts – especially if you’re on a budget and want your money to stretch.
So, in aid of this – I thought I’d set up a little ‘Christmas Gift Guide’ tab on my menu (on the drop down from ‘beauty’) to set the ball rolling with regards to ideas, offers and treats for the family. Thinking about Christmas always injects a little positivity into the day (or at least I think so) so without further ado, introducing the first gift – for all haircare lovers out there – the John Frieda Haircare Gift sets.
Each year John Frieda offer a range of gift sets, each with their own specialities and pretty packaging – and this season, it’s no different. Queen of Curls, Love of Big Hair and Blonde Bombshell are the three different defining ‘sets’ each containing four mini products and housed in a chic, metallic style package.
I opted for the Blonde Bombshell package, which contains four of my all time favourite John Frieda minis – the Sheer Blonde Crystal Hold Hairspray, the Highlight Activating Conditioner, the Blonde Hair Repair Conditioning Treatment and the High Activating Shampoo.
Each designed specifically for colour treated hair and highlights, these magic potions have something in them which makes brassy/yellow tones appear more natural, lightening them up subtly and refreshing your look. On holiday – I absolutely swear by them – but I’m really excited to try using these all year round.
