If I’m being completely honest, country clothing from Joules has previously never appeared on my radar – as I’ve always associated it with a slightly older target market – however as they say – never judge a book by its cover, because once you start browsing the website, I soon realised I’d been thoroughly missing out. Beautifully made, high quality and on trend garments are offered in a plethora of colours and styles, and leave you absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to treating yourself. With a view to kitting out my festival wardrobe, I managed to bag a few gorgeous pieces – as I’m sure you’ll agree.
First in the basket was a pair of absolutely gorgeous Joules wellies. Famed for their quirkily printed wellington boots (and at an affordable £36.95/£39.95 a pair), I eventually chose a pair of the pink polka dot sort – which are perfect for the upcoming festival season. With a slightly heeled sole and a buckle at the side, they look high quality – and certainly feel it too.
Also ordered was this absolutely gorgeous quilted jacket, complete with elbow pads and warm lining. I know it’s not technically the right season to be buying a coat, but I have ALWAYS wanted one in this kind of style, and it’s the perfect throw on accompaniment to any outfit. Again, the quality of this is incredible, despite costing £109, it’s more than worth the price tag.
Stripy tops are a weakness of mine – and so it’s rather fitting that Joules offer perhaps the biggest (and most gorgeous) range I’ve ever come across. Horizontal, vertical, black, navy, blue and pink – you really are spoiled for choice. So much so, I almost went for two. My favourite however is the above, an amazing, flattering and comfortable stripy top, which is long enough to justify wearing it with a pair of leggings (if it’s one of those days) or for teaming with a pair of jeans for a casual, easy to wear yet on trend day look.
Joules is honestly an absolutely stunning brand – and one I am proud to call my new favourite. Their garments are beautifully made and the little additions, like the cute tags and elbow pads are enough to brighten your day (honestly, prior to my Joules arrival I was feeling particularly anxious about exams – and once the delightful little floral package arrived – I felt like I’d been given a boost). Make sure you visit website here if you’re looking for any festival inspired clothing, treats or gifts. That will teach me to judge a book by it’s cover.
