Wherever in the world I have been, the local aquarium seems to be my first point of call. So it’s surprising that in all my years of living in London (20, just to be precise) I cannot recall a visit to the London Sea Life Aquarium. Located in the South Bank area, just a short walk from The London Eye, the Sea Life aquarium is popular with both locals and tourists alike, perfect for a family day out. It takes around two and a half hours to get around completely (if you like to take your time like we did) and has surprises that will leave you in awe on every twist and turn.
Words won’t do all the little treats in store any justice, so I’ll leave the photographs to do all the talking.
General admission for adults booking online is £18.36 and £13.52 for children (3-15 years), you’ll save quite a substantial amount if you get the tickets in advance – although all the information can be found here.
