I’ve been slacking a little on featuring my ‘online favourites’ each week, so to make up for it, I’ve scoured the web for something really special. An online retailer who stocks the latest trends, with the majority being priced at £10 and under!
I don’t know about you but when I’ve been pictured in a particular dress on Facebook, I rarely wear it again for a night out (unless it’s one of my all time classics or expensive favourites). It’s throw away fashion, I know. And I guess it’s pretty materialistic of me. It’s not like the photographs are being splashed across the covers of magazines. But it’s become a bit of a habit. And I know I’m not the only one.
So, to fuel this little addiction – and rescue my bank balance in the process – I’ve taken to finding on trend dresses (think tartan, peter pan collar, lace etc) for the lowest prices possible. But similarly (and I’ve trialed and tested this after ordering from many different websites), well made, quality clothing that doesn’t fall apart or look unflattering. It’s a lot to ask for. But one website in particular does it very well.
Mary Jane Fashion on first glance doesn’t appear to offer much in the way of on trend, ‘going out’ type dresses, but once you look into the different categories in a little more depth, you come across some real bargains.
Take this gorgeous red gingham dress for example, a little reminiscent of my school summer dress (but then, don’t we all want to relive our childhood years) but so on trend, and perfect party wear or day wear. And it’s only £11.99.
And it’s not just dresses that Mary Jane Fashion specialize in. They’ve got pencil midi skirts, womens skinny jeggings (and even, something for the men – especially with Valentine’s day approaching) cheap casual mens polo shirts.
What do you think about ‘throwaway fashion’? Do you prefer investment pieces? Or cheap ‘night out’ dresses?
