It’s easy to dismiss Sam Faiers as just another Essex girl.
Far from being fond of white stiletto heels, bleached blonde hair and cheap cocktails at second-rate nightclubs, however, this Essex native is fast becoming one of the fashion world’s leading lights.
Oh, and there’s not a vajazzle in sight.
With her inaugural style collection for Very, it’s obvious there are more strings to Sam’s bow than smooching with her on/off boyfriend Joey Essex and sunning herself on the beaches of Marbella.
Instead, the 23-year-old has turned her hand to creating a range of exciting party outfits, packed full of luxe details, sequins and, of course, a huge slice of glamour.
With 17 pieces in her first outing for the online retailer, her environment has clearly had a massive influence on her style choices.
In a recent Q&A with Very, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant said: “I wanted my collection to be really fun and flirty and for there to be pieces to suit all ages.
“There’s a touch of Essex style with the sequins and high-shine fabrics, but there’s also a sophisticated edge with a gorgeous white jumpsuit and tailored black trousers.”
Sam certainly isn’t shy in front of the camera, and she looks every inch the glamour model as she proudly shows off her stunning collection.
Looking Good Is No Accident for Sam Faiers
However, it’s not only clothing that the former TOWIE star is interested in.
Says Sam: “I’m just about to launch my eyelashes – which is another really exciting project! I am a big fan of MAC and Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics.
“I swear by Tom Ford’s contour cream, as it’s a highlighter as well as bronzer. I also love to use the shimmering body lotion from my La Bella gift set.”
It’s clear to see that this is a lady who takes her looks seriously.
Unlike some celebrities who could barely identify a sewing machine let alone design an entire range, Sam has industry experience after launching Minnie’s Boutique with her sister in 2011.
Indeed, she’s experimenting with her own style and says: “In the past I’ve had a really girly style but now I try and mix it up a bit.
“I’m working with a really great stylist who is pushing me to try new, edgier looks and I’m really enjoying it.”
With gorgeous, figure-hugging dresses, embellished tops and jazzy jumpsuits, it seems this grittier look has translated to her designs for Very.
Ideal for the upcoming party season, Sam’s range lets you recreate the Essex look – but remember: a vajazzle is ALWAYS a fashion faux pas, regardless of how many festive vinos you knock back.
