How I Prep for London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week seems to creep up on me every single season. It seems so far away and then suddenly, I’m a few days to go and I haven’t even shaved my legs. Yes, really. True story. Oops. Anyway, since we’re not quite yet there (I’ve still got a whole 24 hours until things really kick off – so I’m totally not fashionably late this time around), I thought I’d put together a little guide to Fashion Week prep, including a few insider notes about what it’s really like to watch the fashion scene unfold from the sidelines. The Prep Just like getting…

In My Wardrobe:

Lets talk about Glam Glow

Okay so I’m not usually one for hyped up products. I tend to take a step back when everyone is raving about something – why, I’m not sure. So I suppose this is the reason I’ve never previously tried Glam Glow. Because everyone seems to love them and my cynical nature has held me back from trying them out. Originally formulated to help celebrities, actors and models achieve camera ready skin, Glam Glow was only made available for retail in 2011 –…

Body Odour Brunch

Body odour perhaps is perhaps a slightly unusual topic of conversation to have with fellow bloggers over brunch, however last week – I found myself doing exactly this, albeit joined by TV’s favourite Dr Christian Jessen. In a rather beautiful location, just a short stroll from Farringdon, the UK’s leading antiperspirant brand Sure held a brunch to remember to celebrate the launch of their Antibac range. And while it might be a difficult task to make deodorant and odour talk glamorous, Sure somehow managed to give it their best shot. With the help of the stunning (and rather Instagram-worthy) Bourne & Hollingsworth, they…

Feel Good Skin

I don’t think I’ve explored it in too much depth (just yet) on my blog, but over the past few months – my skincare routine and the products I use on a daily basis to cleanse, tone and moisturise – have all been put into the spotlight. About four months ago, I hit a really bad point with my skin. Three years of being plagued by annoying dryness and rosacea – and I’d had enough. I was fed up of not being able to hide the annoying acne like red dots under even the heaviest foundation – for it only dried…

September Beauty Favourites

How on earth it’s the end of September, I have no idea. Time seems to be whizzing by at a rate I simply can’t keep up with – and while I’m secretly super glad we’re edging closer to Christmas (largely so I can watch Elf and drink mulled wine without feeling too guilty), I’m also slightly taken aback at how quickly the world seems to pass by. I’ve been having a bit of a ‘pamper’ month this month (I’ll probably talk about why in another post), as my main focus has been mindfulness – so naturally, the beauty items I’ve…
