Christmas jumpers (usually associated with cringe-worthy family Christmases) have made a bit of a comeback in the last few years, with many high street stores opting to bring the trend up to date with a few quirky touches. One brand which does this fantastically is New Look – who have devised an entire range of Christmas jumpers that you could almost get away with prior to the festive season.
A few weeks back, New Look kindly sent me the most adorable little stocking filled with chocolates, a Christmas cracker and my favourite jumper from the site – which just happened to be a grey, sequin based Penguin jumper which I’d had my eye on for several weeks.
And I wasted no time in wearing it (Christmas jumpers aren’t just for the big day you know), slipping it on with a pair of leggings for my University/Flat Christmas dinner – whereby we all had to turn up in festive attire or face a forfeit.
Of course, if you’re wearing something Christmassy – you may as well go all out and stick on a reindeer headband too!
