Life is too short not to please yourself with all possible chuckles. Every girl dreams about romance and trips! I turn my thoughts into action. This time, picking up a tour, I was willing to go to an elegant place. I was offered a Monte Carlo vacation where I was about to visit local casinos. It took me a couple of minutes to realize – I have no clue what women wear for a casino night out.
I pressed search button in my browser to check a traditional casino dress code. According to OnlineCasinoGuide.co.nz, men should show up in jackets and shirts. How about girls? A dress is necessary. But what should be the length? The cleavage? What bling to pick?
- After Five
An elegant party dress and a killer pair of heels are demanded. No need to put on diamonds. They will look at least weird. A bright cocktail dress will look fine as well as a classic little black dress. Try rich fabrics, such as lace, chiffon, and velvet, to diversify the typical black. Do not forget to keep the hemline modest: two inches above the knee max. Do not choose too bright, ‘screaming’ colors. That will look completely inappropriate. Pay special attention to your shoes. That pair should look flawless! Cheap shoes make your entire look cheap. If you have that particular pair you wear for weddings and ceremonial occasions, it is high time to take it out.
- Black Tie
If you are going to visit a casino after 9 p.m. – pick up a more formal outfit. It is time for a traditional Old Hollywood glamour. A tea- or floor-length gown is just what you need. Make sure the dress fits you perfectly. Be a star of the night and strut your stuff in a gorgeous satin, taffeta, or beaded number. You can take a pair of diamond or emerald earrings. A dramatic necklace will complement any woman. But never put on both. Pearls are fine to wear as well. Do not forget about tights. Bare legs are inappropriate for the occasion. Make sure your shoes are comfortable enough to walk a night over.
- Tuxedo For A Girl
Can a girl wear one to the casino? If you are inspired by celebs showing up in tuxedos for the red carpets, slow down. There is no crime in putting a suit on for a night out. But you should consider top mistakes girls make trying to look chic in one:
- Do not borrow one from your boyfriend or any other man. That will look at least awkward. It will make your shoulders and breasts look ugly, so you will definitely regret your decision.
- Dress up for the body you have, not the one you would love to have. Are you sure classic jackets do not bunker you?
- Make sure you will not match the dealers’ or waiters’ uniform. Google those before picking the outfit.
I was pretty excited about the last one, so I rushed to the local store for a suit. Unfortunately, tuxedos are not my kind of cookie, so I had to pack my favorite little black dress.
